Small runs, hand-bound, made to be kept.

Prints & binding is the paper side of the studio — small-run printed pieces, hand-bound books and tactile objects. The same nineteen-year attention to the journey, set in type and sewn in thread.

What you can do

Start with what
you need.

Hand-bound books

Itineraries, journals and editions — sewn, cased and finished by hand in small numbers.

Printed pieces

Cards, broadsides and route prints that carry the brand's typography onto paper.

The gateway deliverables

The printed half of the gateway model: the card in your hand that opens the city page.

Who it is for

The right reader knows the door.

Travellers who want the trip to last

A bound plan, a printed atlas page, a letterpressed route — the journey as an object you can shelve.

Partners and hosts

Printed material for the network: cards, letters, the QR deliverables that open the gateways.

Commissioners

Small editions for cultural projects — programmes, keepsakes, the paper a moment deserves.

Proof, honestly

Methods, artefacts, intent.

Paper before pixels

The studio's philosophy runs paper-first: if it cannot be set well on a page, it is not ready for a screen.

The printed kit

The letters and cards that already move through the network are the workshop's first proofs.

Editions, not merchandise

Nothing here is branded giveaway — every piece is made to be kept, used and worn out.

How it moves

What happens next

Choose the piece

A plan, an edition, a one-off — the object decides the process.

Set and proof

Type is set on the same tokens as the screen work, so paper and pixel agree.

Bind and deliver

Small runs, finished by hand, sent when they are ready.

Questions

Asked, and answered honestly.

Can I order a bound trip plan?

That is the workshop's first intended service. Write and ask — the first runs are small by design.

Do you take outside commissions?

Occasionally, when the project fits the bench. The best first step is an email describing the piece.
