What happens after you pay
Here is exactly what your deposit sets in motion.
- 1Your place is held — Your payment is recorded. We verify monument tickets and hotel holds before confirming your booking; a date that has not gathered its group stays tentative.
- 2Your planning document opens — City highlight tours, hotels with live rates, the deposit and the voucher — one self-service document, resumable at any time, with everything you confirmed joined in.
- 3Your account gives you the keys — Verify your email and sign in — your document is there whenever you return, with your payments and deliverables tracked inside it.
- 4Your handbook travels with you — The trip handbook — history, narrative and the day-by-day guide — is included as you plan, in the app or as a download; the hand-bound edition ships to your door.
The fair deal
A small commitment; the plan is yours.
The deposit covers monument tickets and hotel holds. 50% of the trip total is due 60 days before departure and the balance 40 days before. Bookings within 60 days stay pending while we verify tickets and hotels. Automated payment and confirmation close 21 days before departure; no payment is collected at that cut-off.
Prefer we carry the weight? Switch to have it managed for you at any point — one managed booking fee, and our partner travel agency confirms the details. Our public routes, city sessions and gateways stay free to explore.

What if the group never confirms?
Your deposit is refunded, or your trip becomes private — recalculated to your exact group size — or you pick another date. You never lose the commitment you made.
